Default Need some rims

I'm about to put snow tires on my 1990 Volvo 740 wagon. I have the 16 in. tires, but need the rims. Does anyone know if I have to use Volvo rims? Or can I use any set of 16 inch rims?

they have to fit the bolt pattern, and the offset of the volvo. they don't have to be volvo made but not many other cars will fit volvo specs. hard to find 16" steel volvo wheels in the us, and the 16" alloys are expensive

If you're ONLY going to run different wheels on the rear of the car for the snow tires, I believe you can use the 14" wheels from a 240. If you try to use these wheels in the front, they will interfere with the brake caliper but not so in the back. This would open up your options if you're perusing the salvage yards for cheap wheels for the snow treads.
