Default A noob question, and few other things..

Ive gotten pretty familiar with my 940t and gotten used to doing some minor stuff on it. Im still dealing with the valve shims being off, which is more annoyance than anything and the idle. I cleared the codes and they have not come up anymore, i had a 2-3-2. Which to my knowledge is lean or to rich at idle, I want to do a general tune up before i take it to Colorado but from the looks of it, it has new plugs and wires. I want to take the plugs out and do a compression test and look to see if their black or wet, but im not sure if i can just take them out and then put them back in after i check, or will i need a certain torx or something as far if i want to check them, am i going to screw anything up? The plug wires are looking brand new from IPD and i know the air filter is nice and clean, what else should i check for that i can do myself. i still have to do my power steering fluid change, and front sway bar bushings, which i should be able to do pretty easily if i got the car lifted up? What else should i cover for a tune up? Thanks

Spark plugs are torqued to 25nm (18ftlbs)

If the car is running great. I wouldn't mess with anything.
Finish you fluid changes. I forgot if you checked the brakes yet or not?
Sway bushings are easy. Just undo the nut, and put the new ones one.

Alright, Yeah the swaybar will be easy i think, and the fluids are soon to be done. I havent taken the tires off yet and looked at everything, but everytime i go to a shop they always say the brakes are good, but i get a rotor warping shudder going down hills and braking, and also its sqeeking alot lately.

just a little warning... last time i did endlinks, it was on an uneven surface, so i had to jack up one side a little higher just to get the chassie even with the bar to bolt it all up.

my brakes do the same thing, but they still have some life left.
