Nylock nut on tie rod to strut?

Default Nylock nut on tie rod to strut?

hi all i have an 88 245 wagon,
I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on using a nylock nut on the balljoint that connects the tie rod end to the strut or using nylock nuts in general on car suspension. the oem would have been an all-metal lock nut, but when i bought a new balljoint from lemforder, i noticed that the nut that came with it was nylock. i'd have to replace that everytime they do an alignment or something (assuming they have to take it off and put it on again, i'm not sure what they do during an alignment tbh)...

Don't over think this. Nylok nuts are reusable so this should not be a problem.

only like 3 times tho...and also doesn't the weather and outside conditions affect the nylon?
