o2 sensor mod?
i saw a o2 sensor mod that claims to modify the signal from the o2 sensor and trick the computer into giving the engine more fuel. this sounds good to me, but can i modify the signal myself? i know that sensor signals are in amps or something, and that the amount of voltage tells the computer whats what. so, can i use something from a hardware or hobby shop to modify the signal? where can i find out what the voltage rage of the sensor is?

Its ussually in millivolts, about the range I dont know but I dont think that would be a good idea unless you are pushing in more air with an upgraded turbo, otherwise I see it to loose power and put out a cloud of smoke through the tailpipe due to the unburned fuel.

an easier way is to add more resistance to the coolant temperature sensor so it thinks the engine is not warmed up and runs richer. But why may I ask do you want to do this? The fuel injection figures out the right amount and if you add more fuel you not only get less power but the extra gas also washes down the cylinder walls of lubrication and increases your wear. (most wear occurs in the first few minutes of operation) It is very difficult to find 'free' power. Try getting cold air from the front and shutting off the hot air tube if your car will start properly.

but beware of how or how much resistance you would put on the cts. because remember..if the computer sees 30 degrees below zero..it'll automatically keep all the injectors wide open and flood the cranck case with fuel....
beleive me ..I've seen it..
