hey

would like to know what could be wrong with a stucking odometer in an 1994 850 Volvo?!

did u ever heard about thta it just stucked at some point or do I need to consider that someone made it with purpose to get a better price for a used turbo wagon?

how much could it be to repair it and is it possible to do this kind of stuff by DIY?

hi,dont worry this is a common problem on older volvos.my 240 sticks as does a lot of other models. dont know how you can diy it soi just live with it. i reckonit would be more trouble to repair than its worth. good luck.

 

sorry,please ignore my advice regarding your odometer. what i was referring to was the tripcounter.

 

I would try asking this question over on the 850 section. I was about to answer your question assuming it was a 240 but luckily I caught myself this time and looked to see what kind of car you have. I have a bad habit of answering a question assuming the car is a 240, of which I'm not too bad knowledge wise, but this time I looked to see what the car was. Wish I could help but I know nothing about the 850's but I bet someone over in the 850 section will be able to help.
