Default Oil Light on

What's up with this?

I put a new water pump on my daughter's car today (1989 240DL) and now the freakin oil light is on. Plenty of oil in the engine. Runs as usual, no strange noises.

I've misplaced my shop manual, so I don't know where the oil pressure sensor is. A lot of coolant came out of theengine when I changed the pump, so some may have gotten on the sensor, depending on where it is.

Any help will be appreciated!

OK. Found the manual. Found the sensor. No wire connected to it. There is a loose black wire in the vicinity with no connector on the end. Should I assume that this wire connects to the sensor?

Thanks. So it isthe BLACK wire that connects to the sensor? Didn't see any others that weren't connected to anything.
