Default Oil Pressure Switch

1993, 240,wagon
Is the oil pressure switch that thing coming out of the block just forward of the oil filter, with a wire on the end? Is it right behind the alternator? All of this on the pass side on the engine.
Toreplace this, do I get to it from above or below.
Any help appreciated.

Default RE: Oil Pressure Switch

i think you have a b230 engine, so what you may be talking about is otherwise called the Oil Pressure Sender. it will be on the right side of the block, ahead of the oil filter.
Try to get at it, period. and see what feels right to you, keeping in mind that all is well.
