Default oil trap

My car is an 1989 volvo 740 gl wagon w/ b230f engine. Did all b230f engines come with the oil trap? or were there special ones such as "california" models. that did not have that. I do have a flame trap, and it is bosch injection.

all redblock engines have the oil separator box, except maybe the oldest B18's from 1950-something. turbos don't have a flame trap, they vent the oil box into the intake plumbing between the MAF and the turbo, all the non-turbos have the flame trap.
