Overdrive Fuse Popping

Well, if the fuse keeps popping, that's a fair indicator the circuit pulls too much juice. A short circuit is the most common reason. Check under the car by the transmission and see if you can find the overdrive solenoid. There's a wire that comes out the top. Follow it and see if there's a break or bad insulation. Under the car is a hostile environ for wiring. The o.d. relay is behind the glovebox and the wiring goes down under the passenger carpet to the drive tunnel and up inside the shifter cover to the o.d. button. Get a service manual and you can follow the diagram as to where the wiring goes.
