Overdrive Fuse Problem

The overdrive fuse keeps popping on me. put a new one in, turn on the key, and it pops. any suggestions?

solinoid is hung popping fuse. Change it.

You probably have exposed wiring and it's grounding out somewhere. most likely hanging on exhaust...check that first before you replace the solenoid...a bad solenoid will not cause the fuse to blow..

Possibly a bad OD solenoid relay if the 240's have one?
