Default paint on 1991 940 wagon

I recently purchased a '91 940 white wagon, and I would like to properly clean and seal the paint. I am a newbie at this, and I read online that what one does depends on whether the paint is single stage or not... Can someone tell me about the paint on these cars and offer suggestions on how to refresh and preserve its paint? Thanks very much.

I am almost sure that it is single stage, meaning that it doesn't have a clear coat on top.

yeah, the white is single. most all the other colors have a clear coat.

if the paint is in OK shape, I'd just use meguiars cleaner-wax on it, it goes on easy, and gives a nice shine, and will remove a minor haze on the paint. if the paint is in bad shape, heavily oxidized, I'd use a separate medium cut cleaner, then a glaze, then a wax

The wax that I use is Collinite insulator wax. That is the best that I have used so far.
