Default Part # for OE Oil seperator?

I haven't heard anything good about the aftermarket boxes from IPD or the other online suppliers. Does anyone here know the part # for the Volvo part so I can order from the dealer online? This is for a 93 245 as I understand there are two different flavors of box.

I haven't heard anything bad about the IPD box.

VADIS lists 3501160 as the oil separator box, and 949659 as the o-ring under it, for any 240 from like 1988+ ... the older ones used 1306398 and the same o-ring.

I guess it was the FCP boxes that some are saying don't hold up, that they split at the seams. Thanks for the info. BTW what is VANDIS? Thanks!

VADIS is Volvo's old dealer parts catalog, covers all cars from early 240s up to 2004 or so when it was last released. it was replaced with a newer webserver based system thats not as easily 'borrowed'. you can probably find a bootleg copy on some russian torrent or something, hah! caveat emptor.

VADIS has issues on newer Windows systems, so I've got a Windows XP virtual machine I run it on so it doesn't muck with my win8 desktop.

it lists parts that were available as of 2004. many parts for older models are no longer available.
