passenger side ecu

Default passenger side ecu

I have a 91 volvo 240. and it just stopped running at a stop light so i got it home checked it out and i determined a bad crank sensor and then i found a bad fuel ecu on pass side. the stock number for it is 0280000556 and im having a hard time finding a replacement and i was wondering what other numbers will work for this ecu if any. the car is non egr id appreciate any help thanks

The List above is a good place to start, but I know some of those dont always work. The BOSCH computers made in Spain absolutely will not work in some traded applications. I made that mistake of trying them.

I recommend that if you get another computer, if you can go to a junkyard and do it, that you also get the matching primary igntion model and switch it also (if you change ECU numbers)

On the 240 it will be located above the ECU and behind the glovebox on the firewall there. Its just another 5 minutes if you can grab it.
