As usual you are right on the money. One question though- in my owners manual it says ATF for the steering, on the resivour it says power steering fluid. The fluid was red (well, dark, dirty red) so I sucked out as much as I could and refilled with ATF.Cool?? Dave

When I drain and refill my P/S system I will use Volvo brand power steering oil. I'll see if it works the way it states. Will it be fine?

Trans fluid is what Volvo uses on the old cars.
In 1999 they went to a special steering fluid.
