Hey guys just changed out all 3 of the v belts on my 91 740 turbo and now when I'm turning sharply but not completely all the way sounds like the power steering pump is squealing for a couple seconds then stops. The service engine light also turned on. Pump going bad or maybe something with the belts or pulleys?

Drives fine otherwise and turns fine besides the squeal every now and then.

I had my 89 240 power steering pump wobble...visible wobble...I sold it and let the new owner know about it but before selling it I emptied the power steering fluid out of the reservoir and filled it with a 6 dollar power steering fluid conditioner/sealer and did the trick...stopped the squeal and very little wobble....

flushing the whole thing out would be best. and replacing the thing if necessary.

91? you probably can read codes...don't know much about the 740's
