i have a 1991 volvo 740 non-turbo and was wondering if there was any prformance upgrades to be made ??? please help

 

Well you have a non-turbo so engine mods wont be that great, but you can still do others. It might be easier to sell yours and get a turbo model, but you can always turbo it, but it will cost some money.

First thing I would do is IPD swaybars. Then do some sport springs and some Bilstein or KONI shocks/struts. you can also get chassie braces if you want,for they will help tighten up the front end.

Put and exhaust on the car and an CAI (cold air intake), then you can upgrade the camshaft, and get some chips for the ECU/ICU.

That should get ideas in your head. Let me know what else you have in mind [sm=smiley2.gif]

 

Sell and get a turbo model. Easiest thing to do and mod from there.

For a cold air box you can get a plastic garbage bin and cut a hole in the bottom so the filter end can go through it.
Then you just get some pipe and attach it to your MAF.
Or you can just get a drop in K&N panel Filter.
