Hello, I need help. I am preparing to remove the aftermarket alarm system in my 1994 940. I have pulled the wiring down
However, my concern is with the splices and the dead-end factory wiring harness left by the installers. The cut ends in the black and white harnesses look like they match the splices and are the "same" length.
Before I start cutting, does anyone know what those two harness ends are for and if they are supposed to connect to anything? Logic would suggest not, since the alarm control does not splice into other similarly-coded wires.
If the wiring harnesses are dead end, does that mean 940s had a security system as an option?
Finally, and most important; can I just cut and cap the wiring?
TIA
