well when trying to attempt to check my fuel pressure i try to pull the hose off from the fuel rail so i used pliers not knowing that there is a plastic tubing within the hose so i cracked it yes.. im such a noob but nowi cut about half a inch so im wondering if i buy some kind of adapter and a extra hose can i join the two together even with that plastic tube inside can it still be used?

On many of these the plastic tubing is the fuel line. The hose is insulation.

Your best bet is a junk yard.

 

Take the entire fuel line if you can from a junk car.
Or buy the plastic tubing and make a new fuel line.

 

k I fixed the problem by installing a in-line fuel pressure gauge that i bought from summit and used fuel injector hose about 6inches thanks guys
