Replaced blower motor in my 89 244. Beautiful thing because I'm in az. However I'm finding my tail lights are always on now. And dash lighting not working. The startup sequence is good when I start the car, all my lights come on. Then go off. But my back lighting is not functional. I'm sure I probably could have missed a ground but I double checked and check again. Any ideas? I could figure it out if they were never working but I can't imagine why tail lighting would stay on?

 

Phantom problem, drove it today and it stopped when I shut off the car. All is well and everything works.

 

I would check the ground post on the center console. Perhaps it wasn't tightened down all the way. This could cause intermittant issues.
