Question On head bolt torque and leakage
I have an 1993 non-turbo 940 with about 288000 miles, just replaced the water pump, belts. hoses radiator, timing-belt I had head checked at my machine shop for level flat surface and brought to level specs with in Volvo tolerance ie: amount of material removed on head, replaced head bolts with new ones did the torque with torques specs from Aldata
ie:
Oil head bolts.
Torque each bolt in sequence and in following stages:
1 = 20 Nm (14 ft lbs)
2 = 60 Nm (43 ft lbs)
3 = Angle-tighten 90°
car runs fine so far but there seems to be an oil seepage from the passenger side mate surface between head and block....should I re torque head? car has 30 miles on it since redo of head...are these torque specs correct or any Ideas what may be the problem?
