Hi! I have a 1988 244 DL that makes a grinding noise when I brake. I pulled the wheels and checked the pads and they are all good. I did notice the rear rotors had fine rust where it should be shiny from contact with the pads. Can the rear brakes be out of adjustment and if so, how do you adjust them?

There is no adjustment. The caliper is self- adjusting. (in theory)

 

sounds like you have at least one caliper frozen...
