Default S80 Brake Adjustment Question

Are there any adjustments that can be made on 1999 S80 brakes? I just had new pads and rotors put on and it seems like there's no clearance and the pads are rubbing. Mechanic thinks he is just going to have to shave the pads down a bit. They are Brembo rotors, but I don't remember the brand of the pads.

There is no way to adjust them.
Are you sure they are the right parts?

Parts were correct. The mechanic had to flush the brake fluid. Now they work fine. He showed me the fluid that he originally drained out when he did the brakes and it was very dirty. I don't know why he didn't recommend flushing the fuid to begin with, when he saw how dirty it was and since the brakes weren't working properly. The brakes got so hot that it slightly warped the rotors. So, he had to turn my brand new rotors. I'm not so happy about that, but at least the brakes are working now.

You should flush your brake fluid on an annual basis.............at least every two years. Brake fluid is hydroscopic and attracks water like a sponge.
