Default Rear Caliper and Brake Shoe Brands

Replacing rear brakes on my 1990 240DL sedan. Going with Brembo rotors and PBR Deluxe pads from FCP Groton.

Caliper choices are ReTech and Cardone.

Parking brake choices are PEX, ATE or Meyle.

Any recommendations on best brands for the calipers and parking brake shoes, or are all of these about equal when it comes to quality?

A-1 Cardone is usually just re-boxed product from other vendors so it's a crap shoot. Almost all rotors are now unfortunately made in China so names don't carry the weight they used to. PBR is a fine brand. You should check the product at rockauto.com before you pull the trigger w/ FCP. I really like dealing with FCP but rockauto is a great vendor also w/ fantastic customer service AND selection/prices.

cardone has given me and my clients tons of trouble across the board, so i tend to avoid them when possible. a certain friend of mine has been through 5 of their calipers in 3000 miles on the RF wheel of his truck. what quality?
as for pads, i usually buy the wagner thermo-quiets, but any high-quality pad should do. for parking brake shoes, they don't wear unless you drive with the parking brake on, so inspect them before replacing them
