Default Front brake shoe replacement

Okay Iam stumped. How doI get the brake pads and caliper housing off. I see some type of pins on the back side of the caliper housing, that it seems would have to come off or the housing slid off, but it wasn't happening today. I've had other cars where it had 2 bolts holding it but that wasn't the case here. anybody got the steps to this process. And yes I wrestled with those wire clips for 20 mins, putting them back on and called it a day. I have done this on several cars but I'm stuck here.

From the back side on the little rubber sleeves there is a 7MM pin that you need to unscrew. There is 2 per caliper. The rubber sleeve might have the plastic plug still in it. You need to pull the plug out then remove the pins. Then the caliper will slide off.

Very easy, I finished mine in an hour yesterday. Got to have the 7mm hex socket as you mentions above Tech. I'll be doing the rear brakes tomorrow. I have the Chilton manual, any suggestions on the service packs (shims).

Rear brakes were even easier, just used a punch to remove the to pins which secures the spring that holds the pads in place. Probably took almost 45 minutes because the service packs were incorrect and I had to clean the old ones and reuse them. Car brakes like a champ now.
