Does anyone know how to change the bulb in the third brake light on a 1992 volvo 940gl? I can't figure out how to get to it. If you have a diagram showing how it comes apart that would be great.

 

Well, unfortunately a diagram won't help. It is is supposed to be done by inserting a flat blade screwdriver in the bottom slot of the cover and pushing up to free the tab but it just doesn't happen--due to time and heat that plastic is usually so fragile and distorted that it cracks right in the top middle if any force is applied. You just have it coax it carefully and hope to get it to come out without breaking.
