Default Regina Fuel Pump: Resistance Specification?

Greetings. Considering the possibility of an in-tank wiring issue with a 1990 Regina (single pump) arrangement.

As far as I can tell by looking at most replacement parts kits (such as this), the in-tank power connection for these units is dependent upon spade connector integrity -- which might wind up in a high-ohm failure mode over time. Pump motor commutator failure is unlikely; as the car has well under 40K miles of total use.

The question: Has anyone put an ohmmeter directly across one of the pumps when new? Having respiratory issues, I'm interested to know a (ballpark) baseline reading for a known-good unit as reference before undertaking the awful job of physically pulling the pump assembly from the tank (740 sedan).

I'm guessing that about 1 ohm or so might be expected for a healthy unit with a 6 to 8 Amp nominal current draw at runtime...

Thanks again --
