Default Removing Brake Rotors from a 1991 240

Hey All:
I am new to this site. I have a 1991 Volvo (duh!) 240 that I am putting back on the road. I noticed the dirt covers on the backs of the rotors are pretty rusty and was thinking about replacing them. (I am replacing the calipers on the rears anyway)

How do you remove the rotors?

Is it worth replacing the front dirt covers?
Joe

rotors just sit on. remove wheel, spray with penitrant, whack with rubber mallet and they fall off. if really rusted on use pry bar
