Default Any trick to removing rotors?

I have a 2004 S60 and I was trying to replace my rear rotors today and could not get the things off. I removed the caliper and the one bolt on the front of the rotor. I got the rotor loose but it would not come off. I looked at the new rotors and there is nowhere for something to be attached to the rear of the rotor that could be holding it on. One thing that occurred to me after I put everything back together, and called a garage, was that my E brake had been on. Does anyone know if that was the culprit?

Yes the e-brake will stop it from coming off.
There is brake shoes that use the inside of the rotor for the e-brake.

Did you get them off yet?

They should pretty much slide right off with the e-brake off.

Just finished up, they came off with a little elbow grease. The entire job took less than an hour for both sides. Thanks for the help!
