Default Removing OEM Speakers

[Brand new here]
I have a Volvo 740 [GLE I believe--non-turbo]

Is there anything I have to worry about when I try to remove the factory speakers?

They seem to be riveted on somehow and I'm not sure if I can just remove them with plyers or if I need a special tool. I want to replace my rear speakers (on the door) with newer speakers [then eventually a new amp and new stereo].

The only 'special tool' you need is a 1/8 inch drill bit to drill out the centres of the rivets.
