Question Removing vacuum hoses: Too easy?

While doing other troubleshooting (discussed in another thread) I had to remove the vacuum hose from my fuel pressure regulator. I removed each end. I noticed that it came off surprisingly easily, even with the engine running. Now, it's not hanging loose, but it did seem to slide right off with only a tiny bit of force. Is this normal?

It could be the wrong size hose that was installed on there. They aren't usually real tight but it should be snug and if your engine is a turbo, they should have clamps on all of them. I'm not sure what the size is supposed to be, perhaps someone on the forum here can weigh in on this.

could just be they are old hoses and no longer elastic. yeah, I dunno the size either.

if the rubber is at all hard and not elastic, I'd go ahead and replace all of them. and yeah, if its a turbo, they have clamps on them, as turbos have negative vacuum aka positive pressure under boost, and would blow the hoses right off.
