removing window tint
I want to remove the tint on my 850, its just old and not looking as good as it could. I realize this takes a lot of work, elbow grease and patience, but what about the rear window. Are the defroster lines embedded, or are they on the surface like other cars, just much smaller?
I don't want to ruin the defroster when I take the tint off of the rear windows...

RE: removing window tint
use razor blades and some liguid light butane. it will break down the glue really quick. just peel back the tint enough to squeeze some of the fluid behind it and slowly pull the tint. you can use it to clean up the glue off the window, but once you get the glue off follow up with a good glass cleaner.
good thing your doing this yourself cuase the tint guy will charge you alot more to remove and re-tint.
