Default Replacing the spark plug wires...

Hello, I'm considering doing a spark plug and wire change on my Volvo 940GL (non-Turbo) that I recently purchased. It's running a little rough at idle and I wanted to know how could I tell if I have a regina or bosch ignition system? Does it matter what type of wires I use to replace them?

Bosch have round ignition coils and Regina have square ignition coil. Kingsbourne, Bougicord, and Magnacor are good makers of spark plug wires.

Thanks Brick, I see that I have the Regina coils so I'm going to IPD to order the set. I have another question. I noticed at normal operating temperature there is some heat blowing out of my front air vents. The temperature guage doesn't show that it's overheating and hangs in the middle. What could the be a sign of???

The heat thing is normal. Air coming through the outside vents will blow in to the car. It's why even on a cold day, if you're running down the highway, you don't even need the blower motor running to keep the car warm inside.

Hi,
If you press the RECirculate button (the one on the right of the three heater/AC /defrost buttons) the hot air will stop blowing in through the vents.
