Rubbed transmission line

Rubbed transmission line
Hi all. On my way home today I noticed a decent amount of blue smoke coming from the rear of my 90' 740 Tic Sedan with an automatic. I pull over and low and behold I see and smell transmission fluid dripping on the ground. I milk it home and it appears the lowest line on the radiator going to the front of the transmission rubbed through on the motor mount(doh!). I was wondering if cutting out the hole and patching the line with rubber hose and clamps would suffice or can I flare a new line? Or do I have to dealer purchase a new line? This is my only car and daily driver so when its down it becomes a hassle. Any and all the quickest answer will be appreciated!! Thanks!

Just remember that line is pressurized and will eventually work through any temp fixes. I had the same thing happen to my MB E320 and the line was $30.00, I couldn't imagine yours would be too much more than that. I am leery about hoses and lines from Junkers. Just a preference as I have gotten some bad ones. That being said they are cheep there.
