Hi all
I just bought a 92 240 GL. The interior looks terrible and I definitely need new seat belts. The PO said his dog chewed on them. I may want to replace the seats too. Do the seatbelts need to be from this specific year and model or can I pick up a pair from any similar Volvo? Also does anyone know what seats are interchangable?

The PO's mechanic gave him a quote of $500 to replace both seatbelts. That seems awfully high to me. Is there something that I should know before attempting this myself?

Actually they are pretty easy to change, and I believe any belts and seats from any 240 since about 1987 will fit, may be even from further back. This is for both seats AND belts. As far as buying them, a junkyard is your best bet. Probably around $20ea will do it...
