Default Silly mistake -- 240 odometer gear

So I was replacing the broken gear in my odometer, and after I got it all back together, I realized I was in such a hurry to get into the odometer, that I didn't pay attention to where I pulled the wires out of the back, and there seems to be more wires back there than there is in the back of the dash display...After i turned my car on, the only light that came on was the "battery" light, and there is no power to it, so no speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, ect. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or a picture so I can see which wires to use and where they plug into?

what year 240? if post 85 there is a big round plastic black connector, a half moon black plastic connector the blue wire with a white rectangle connection that plugs into the "actual spedometer" a yellow and red wire with a female connection that goes to the "overdrive" male connection bottom right(passenger side) a orange or yellow wire if you have cruise control that hooks up to the male connection near the big black round plastic connector(there are 2 male metal connectors there just hook it up to either one) and a tach wire if you have one that is usually red/white wire with a male connector on the end and it plugs into a metal feamle connector on the left side of the cluster or closet to the head light switch. I think that's all of them. There may be a blue wire with a female metal connector on it and that just plugs in below the cruise control(yellow or orange) wire or if you don't have cruise just by itself where the 2 metal male connectors are on the cluster by the big round black connector...Whatever you do, DO NOT hook up the red/white wire that has a female metal connector on the end of it. This will short out and fry your spedo...hope that helps...

Hey thanks, I'm headed out to do that now, although I fear I did hook up the red/white wire, so I might be screwed anyway...

Cool Dash connection....

You need to connect the yellow/red wire to the male spade on the bottom corner of the cluster....
