Default Silly Question about Shimmying

Sorry E1 but I've never owned a front wheel drive car before and I get a shake and or shimmy around 65mph then it goes away around 75mph. Is this due to tires out of balance or bad CV joints? Any ideas anyone. Thanks,

David

That is usually an out of round or out of balance tire.

Might also be sway bar end links (easy to replace) but I'm betting on a bad tire like Tech said. Try swapping the front tires to the rear (and vice-versa) to see ih the problem goes away. If it does you definitely have a bad tire.
