Quick Question - What is the resistance suppose to be for spark plug wires? I have looked all over but not finding anything. I heard some are around 1K ohm per foot, but not sure what Volvo's is.

 

10000-15000 ohms per foot for conventional aftermarket wires. 3000-5000k for better wires per foot. Race wires? 1 ohm per foot.

 

Thanks. Of my two Volvo's one has an average of 3k ohms total length, and the other has around 6k ohms total length. I order new wires before realizing I could measure them, and the new ones are 1k ohms total. So, it sounds like my 6k for the total length is not all that bad.
