Consider doing a full STAGE ZERO, go to http://www.volvospeed.com in the PERFORMANCE forum under the PINNED topics in the last thread the first post tells you what STAGE ZERO is.

Cheap power is hard to come by for Volvo's.

Have custom exhaust made for you. 3" downpipe to 2.5" free flowing catback exhaust all mandrel bent.

Try adding a MBC but I warn you don't use one unless you know how to use it. Read up on it.

Nitrous is another quick easy way to gain some ponies, but don't do it unless you read up on it and know how it works in and out.

You wont gain any Hp doing that. You will gain a lighter car and the HP and torque it already has will be more noticeable.

custom exhaust doesn't sound very cheap at all. how much would that end up costing you think?

I had a crush bent exhaust made for $320 about.

2.5" pipe with a Magnaflow muffler.

3" downpipe to 2.5" catback for you $600-$800, and believe me that is cheap. Considering some aftermarket pre-fabbed downpipes cost $795-$1500.

drill holes in the air box below the filter. no huge hp here, but it will help the engine breath a little better.
