SRS light is on, what does it mean?

there are SRS codes but on cars up to 1992 or so they are not easy to read.

If you have a 93+ and have two diag blocks A and B under the hood, then its easy. if you have a 740/940 up to 1992, you have to mess with a jumper wire in the fuse panel behind the ashtray. if you have a 240 that has SRS and doesn't have the double diag block, then I have no idea how you do it.

The SRS light may be on due to voltage too high or too low, but that will set off the ABS also. Try resetting the light before anything else- electrical gremlins may be the cause. https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-9...icCodesPre1992
Most likely, from experience, it's the connectors, the one on the driver's side behind the right side panel, to the right of the gas pedal, is the most likely one to be disturbed. They are all orange so they are easy to see...
