I have a 1994 Volvo 850 Estate and have been working on it for some time.

I noticed last Friday, after a sudden braking moment, my SRS light came on.

Is it possible to pull codes for this via the ports under the hood?

On a different note, I just received a used ABS/Tracs unit and will install it after work tomorrow to see if this solves my other problem.

Any words of wisdom welcome.

 

Yes you can pull them from under the hood.
SRS is B5.

 

Once you get the codes, let us know what they are. The SRS system can get pricey to fix so I hope it is nothing major.
