Default Stalls and no starts

I have a 1986 244 that I have rebuilt the engine and converted it to a manual about 2 years ago. I has been running great until recently. Occasionally the car will 'hiccup' while driving - defined as the car gives a sudden lurch and then runs smoothly. This may be related to the new intermittent problem: the car sometimes stalls while decelerating or when comes to a stop and will not start unless left alone for a few (5-10) minutes. Sometimes this will happen after shutdown that it will not start. The battery appears to be fine (lots of cranking but no firing) I have read in other posts perhaps fuel pump relay?

Any insights would be welcome! Wife grumpy - no good!

Default RE: Stalls and no starts

I would start with checking the fuel pump relay.
