Default Stereo in an '84 244 GLE?

Can it be done?

As some of you might know, this car has a crappy tuner stereo and 2 door speakers. I'd like to gut it (at a cheap price ofcoarse) and replace everything. I've already got the deck (sony xplode 52watt) and a couple speakers. My main concern is the wiring & power "adapter" for the deck.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

Fairly easy to do.
Run new wires for the rear speaker.
Reuse the wires for the front speakers.
You can run new wires to the radio if you want.
It is only 3 wires then the speaker wires.

Check your local Circuit City or Best buy and see if they carry the adapter.
If not run the 3 wires to the new radio.
1.12 Volts
2.Switched 12 Volts
3. Ground

Next remove the door speaker and look at the colors and match to the radio wires. Run them to the new radio.

Then run new wires under the Carpet to the rear and install the speakers.
