Default Strange Problem

I have a 1992 940 nonturbo. When I am driving up a hill the car will lose power. I doesn't die it just won't go over 10 miles an hour then tries to overheat. If I stop and restart the car sometimes it will run fine and some times it won't. It doesn't have any error codes and the gas tank is 3/4 full? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The oil is fine.
No the check engine light does not come on.
It'll move just has very little power. And if you continue to try to go it will get hot.

check to see that your exhaust is free. I am thinking that the catalytic converter is full of broken pieces and when you go up a hill they go back and clog the exhaust pipe. just an idea. The fact that it happens when you go up a hill makes me think this could be the problem. How very strange! Please let us know what you find. Also check accordian looking hose that runs from throttle body to airmass sensor for holes.
