Strange electrical problem
Hey Guys I have a weird problem and I need help on the path to diagnosis.
I bought a 96 850 wagon- and everything works except, there is no power to the heater/ac control/fan controls,
radio, or
power windows
I replaced the igntion switch but still no go-
Can you guys give me a path to go through to get to the bottom of this?
Thanks very much in advance.

ORIGINAL: tech
Under the cover that you access the Fuse panel from is a bunch of relays. Check in there.
Also do you know of any other repairs that were done to the car before you got it?

do I just use a test light?
on each side of the relay?
I'd really appreciate specifics here as I am a bit of an electrical moron
and yes I did the timing belt
she passed safey just have to stitch in new balljoints.
currently I have power jumper from the power antenae spot but I would like an oem solution.

RE: Strange electrical problem
If you found the relay then you can look on the diagram and find out which connector should have power and test it with a test light. Make sure you have power going into it first. Then feel if the relay clicks.
You can also check a yellow plug with a purple pull on it under the dash. Make sure it is secured all the way. That is the Dash plug.
