Default Strange PROBLEM

Anyone have an idea of what's going on? When I zero out my trip odometer, and get on the highway to check accuracy, it goes about 1.5 miles for every mile I drive. Adding ALOT of extra miles to odometer. Have no clue why it's doing this.

That is very strange you might want to try to have it calibrated.

Do you have different size tires or rims on the car?

If so then it is because of that.

Funny thing is it worked normal at first. I have 205/55/16 tires on it, which are standard.

Is this the mechanical trip odometer? Does it increase at the same rate as regular odometer?

If it is the computerized odometer, could it be set on kilometers, instead of miles?

Yes it is the mechanical odometer, not digital.
