Stupid cooling question
I should know thia by now
91 240dl
Car gets hot, but never overheats, only on hot days... Gets just to the orange
If its 60deg outside.... Doesnt happen.
but up in the 80s with AC or or even in light traffic it gets hot.
no leaks, proper coolant level

How old is the radiator?
Radiators get partially clogged after xx years and can't dissipate the heat. Rodding (if copper), a new core (if copper) or a new radiator fixes it. Did hundreds of those back in the days.
