does anyoner know if there is a swap out for the OEM radiator on a 1991 740 turbo wagon. Mine is leaking and the pick and parts just pulled the 240 that was in the lot that i could have salvaged the RAD from. They have several S and V models but i have not gone to look at the fittings with 10 inches of snow on the ground.

 

740/940 up to 1991 uses a different radiator than 1992+ 7/9 (the 1992+ 740/940 radiator is larger)


me, I'd just get a new Nissen, its the exact fit, OE manufacturer, and NEW, any used radiator is likely just as old and prone to failing as the one you're replacing.

I think he means the various newer volvos like S60, V70 and so forth. AFAIK, none of those use the same radiators.
