I will be switching out my 240 1990 Volvo dashboard. I have one of those Volvo mechanic books, but even then it's not to clear. I have a few questions please:

1) I'm seeing I will have to take apart the steering wheel column. Should I be worried about the air bag going off?

2) Is this job considered easy?

3) Anything else I should know about?

4) While it's apart is there any hose blockages I should look for? Sometimes my passenger carpet gets wet on the passenger side when it rains.
