Default Switching out the Rotors and pads on a 940

Thats the idea anyway. I cant seem to get the tire off. Nothing in the owners manual about a lock or anything for the tire. Is there something I should know about but don't?
Also after that... Is changing the rotors and pads as simple as another car? Thanks again

Default RE: Switching out the Rotors and pads on a 940

If there isn't a locking wheel stud then it is possible that the alloy wheel has 'stuck' to the steel rotor. Jack the car just high enough for the tyre to clear the ground, place a block of wood on the ground behind the tyre and hit the wood with a hammer. When you get the wheel offrub a small amount ofoil on to the part that fits onto the rotor.

The pads and rotors are easy to change.
