Default Do i need to replace pads and rotors at the same time?

2001 V70 T-5 with 60k: I just had new tires and a wheel aligment done. Guys at Wheel Works told me that they noticed that my brakes are totally worn on the front (car still seems to brake ok). They also told me that on volvos you need to rpelace the rotors and pads at the same time, and i note that on IPD web site they state that unless you do this there is no warranty. So, i searched the forum but could not find an answer to this questions:

If i need to replace my brake pads do i also need to replace my rotors? And secondarily, how do i tell if my rotors are "worn" (note that i get no vibration etc when braking, so i do not believe they are warped).

Thanks for any help.

If you don't feel vibration they arent warped.

You can have them measured to see if they are to thin.

If not just throw pads on and go.

The dealer does it everyday.
